Supporting effective strategies for the integration of migrant workers

Migrant workers have become an increasingly important feature of the South West labour market, plugging employer’s skills gaps and recruitment difficulties. Access to ESOL is an issue of particular interest to the RSP.

The RSP will:

• Take the initiative in the region to convene a multi agency Task Group to support a coordinated approach to support migrant workers in the region.

• Monitor the nature and scale of migrant working in the region.
